Our goal in speaking to university students about going beyond the common concept of poverty was to broaden their understanding of this complex issue.
We sought to inspire students to recognize and address the systemic factors that perpetuate poverty, encouraging innovative solutions and holistic approaches. Additionally, we wanted to empower them to use their knowledge and skills to advocate for policies and initiatives that promote equity and social justice
